Enhancing Brand Narratives with Cutting-Edge Design

For me, creativity is not just a job; it’s a lifelong passion that fuels my every endeavor. With over two decades of immersion in branding and marketing, I’ve witnessed firsthand the transformative power of design and innovation. It’s not about merely creating visuals; it’s about crafting experiences that resonate with people, evoke emotions, and inspire action.

What sets me apart is my unwavering commitment to pushing creative boundaries. I live for those moments when we challenge the status quo, take risks, and create something that not only captures attention but also sparks meaningful conversations.

As your potential Creative Director, I bring more than just a resume; I bring a genuine enthusiasm for helping brands evolve and thrive in the ever-changing marketing landscape. I thrive in dynamic environments where fresh ideas take center stage, and I’m deeply dedicated to fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.

Their words. My why.

“It’s rare that you are lucky enough to work with an individual who is a master at their craft, a devoted, team-first leader, and an even better human being.

I had the privilege of working side by side with Karanya for a decade. During this time, we partnered to build a FinTech brand from nothing to one of the strongest in the industry. She made me a better CMO, teaching me the value of how a brand, its product, and its people have to connect to their customers.

I witnessed Karanya grow from a talented contributor to a seasoned executive responsible for the development and career growth of countless team members.

Any organization that is lucky enough to have Karanya on their team will have made a culture-changing decision. She has it all and will make everyone around her better. I can honestly say that she is the greatest teammate I have ever had.”

— Chris Panebianco, Chief Customer Officer, FairSquare
(I reported directly to Chris who served as Chief Marketing Officer at BHG Financial.)

“If I were to summarize Karanya in one word, it would be Passion.

Never before have I seen an individual dedicate so much drive to her work and her team. Always including strategy, she ends up developing gorgeous creative - with meaning. Her team knows they have a leader who supports, guides, and executes all with ease. Never afraid to get her hands dirty, she’s always willing to give it her all, in order to meet or oftentimes, beat the deadline - providing never-ending examples to her team of how a true creative leader performs.”

— Jeff Cook, Director of Creative Services, McDermott Will & Emery
(Jeff reported directly to me during our time together at BHG Financial.)

Without Karanya, I would not be where I am today. I had the honor of working with Karanya for 6 years. As a creative director, mentor, and friend, I have found no one better. Karanya spent countless hours over the course of my career teaching me to be a better designer. Karanya is both creative and methodical, intelligent and thoughtful. Her standards are high, encouraging her team to explore more, think strategically, and ask (all of the) questions — all with the goal of communicating clearly, with visual interest, and with passion.

Karanya is competitive with herself, always pushing for the best, but selfless in her desire to lift up fellow teammates and give credit where credit is due. Her positivity and drive are unmatched, as I have never met a more dedicated individual. In everything she touches, she gives her all. I can honestly say I owe much of my happiness and success in my career to having Karanya as my role model and mentor. I would advise anyone with the opportunity to work alongside Karanya to take it immediately and be open to learning from one of the best.

Where Ideas Run

In the world of design, creativity knows no bounds — and I’ve found some of my best ideas not in front of a screen, but on the open road. My running shoes have carried me through miles of contemplation and discovery, shaping how I think, lead, and create.

Reflecting on my journey as a designer and a runner, I’ve come to realize that just as I celebrate the miles I conquer during my runs, I must also confront the failures and setbacks inherent in both pursuits.

My design career, much like my running journey, is a testament to endurance, determination, resilience, and continual growth. Within my reflections, I aim to merge these two passions and uncover how the lessons learned from running can guide me through both successes and challenges in design and in life.
